Dr. Vinita Dubey

Biography

Vinita Dubey is an Associate Professor at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto. She holds a Bachelor of Science and a Medical degree from the University of Calgary, as well as a Master of Public Health from Harvard School of Public Health. Dubey completed her residency training in Family Medicine and is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Public Health and Preventive Medicine. Since 2006, she has worked as an Associate Medical Officer of Health at Toronto Public Health, focusing on communicable diseases. Her primary teaching responsibilities include Public Health Preventive Medicine for residents. Dubey's research interests encompass immunization, vaccine-preventable diseases, preventive healthcare, and public health education and training. She has been involved in various current research projects, including HPV school-based vaccination implementation and addressing vaccine hesitancy. Dubey's contributions to the field are reflected in her numerous publications, which cover topics such as pain management in childhood vaccination and improving preventive service delivery in adults.
