Dr. Vinita Knight

Biography

Vinita Knight, MD, MPH, is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Yale School of Medicine and the Director of the Pediatric Epilepsy Monitoring Unit. She specializes in pediatric epilepsy, focusing on patients with refractory seizures and is actively involved in the ketogenic diet program to help manage seizures. Dr. Knight's clinical interests extend to various neurologic issues in children, including seizures, migraines, strokes, and developmental delays. She has a profound fascination with the developing human brain, which led her to pursue a career in neurology and epilepsy. Dr. Knight takes pride in caring for a range of patients, from those with complex neurologic problems to minor concerns like headaches.
