Vinod RMT Balasubramaniam graduated from the Asian Institute of Medicine, Science Technology (AIMST) with a major in Biotechnology in 2007. His research interests lie in the host cellular machinery's role in viral survival, with specific focus on host-virus interactions and cellular responses. He has published in prominent journals such as Cell Host Microbe and Nature Microbiology. Currently, his projects include evaluating the regulation of host responses during viral infections, protein-protein interactions, and using animal models to study disease mechanisms. He is also committed to teaching and mentoring students in advanced research techniques and is actively involved in various collaborative projects addressing public health challenges.
