Biography

Violetta Weger is a postdoctoral researcher at the Technical University of Munich, specializing in applied algebra with a focus on code-based cryptography. Her research investigates the intersection of coding theory and cryptography, contributing to the development of cryptographic systems that are secure against quantum computer attacks. She obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Zurich in 2020 under the supervision of Prof. Rosenthal. Currently, she is a Marie-Curie Fellow at both the Technical University of Munich and Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands.
