Dr. Vipulya Chari

Biography

Vipulya Chari is an Assistant Professor at the Weissman School of Arts and Sciences, specializing in Communication Arts. She earned her PhD in Communication Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. With a background in both Communication and English, Dr. Chari has focused her research on the intersections of technology, culture, and communication, particularly in the context of Indian media and digital citizenship. Her scholarly contributions have been published in reputable journals such as Rhetoric Society Quarterly and New Media & Society. In addition to her teaching, she is actively involved in presenting her research at various national and international conferences, addressing themes of digital development and identity in the context of contemporary India.
