Biography

Virgil D. Gligor is a professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. He holds B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees from the University of California at Berkeley. Before joining Carnegie Mellon, he was a professor at the University of Maryland from 1976 to 2007.
