Biography

Virginia Karapanou is a Clinical Associate Professor at Boston University's Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine specializing in Endodontics. She graduated from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, with a Doctor of Dental Sciences (DDS) and completed an advanced education program in Endodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she also received her DMD and CAGS. Since 1994, she has been associated with Tufts, starting as a Clinical Instructor in endodontics and later becoming an Assistant Professor in 1998. Dr. Karapanou was promoted to Associate Professor and has been an integral member of the faculty at the Goldman School since. She is a member of the American Board of Endodontics and the American Dental Association, among other professional societies, and has a private practice limited to endodontics.
