Dr. Gupta has contributed significantly to the field, being a prominent figure in applying AI to optimize decision-making processes, especially in the context of healthcare technology and operations research. He has collaborated with governmental agencies and private sector entities on large-scale projects, such as the ‘Eva’ system, which utilized reinforcement learning during the COVID-19 pandemic to allocate testing resources effectively.
