Dr. Vivek Krishnamurthy

Biography

Vivek Krishnamurthy is an Associate Professor of Law and Director of the Samuelson-Glushko Technology Law Policy Clinic at the University of Colorado Law School. His work primarily involves addressing complex regulatory and human rights challenges in cyberspace. He provides guidance to governments, activists, and companies on the human rights impacts of new technologies. As a frequent public commentator on emerging technology and public policy issues, Vivek is committed to continuing his research on the Internet as a global network, particularly in the context of increasing assertions of digital sovereignty by governments. His current project explores the concept of AI sovereignty, challenging its validity due to the inherent interdependence in the development and deployment of technologies.
