Dr. Vivek Yedavalli

Biography

Vivek Yedavalli is an Associate Professor of Radiology and Radiological Science at Johns Hopkins University, where he also holds positions in Neurology and serves as the Chief of Neuroradiology at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. With a strong focus on translational stroke perfusion imaging, he has contributed significantly to understanding the prognostication and diagnosis of acute ischemic strokes using advanced neuroimaging techniques. Dr. Yedavalli was the inaugural recipient of the Physician Scientist Incubator Program at Johns Hopkins, reflecting his commitment to research and innovation in the field. His research interests encompass advanced neuroimaging, artificial intelligence applications, disorders of cerebral perfusion, and specialized techniques like high-resolution MRI and stroke imaging.
