Vivian W. Sung, MD, MPH, is a urogynecologist at Women & Infants Hospital and an Associate Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Brown Medical School in Providence, Rhode Island. Her research interests involve critical evaluations and the translation of new and existing practices related to female pelvic floor disorders. Dr. Sung has served in numerous national and international leadership positions, including as President of the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons from 2016 to 2017. Her work aims to improve care for women with pelvic floor disorders through the translation of research into clinical guidelines.
