Biography

Vivianna Fang is an Associate Professor in Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the UCL School of Management, University College London (UCL). Her research focuses on collaboration and innovation activities, with publications in leading scientific journals such as Nature Reviews Drug Discovery and management journals like the Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, and Academy of Management Annals. She has received prestigious grants from the Swiss National Science Foundation for her work. Currently, her empirical research explores how digital technologies shape the dynamics of collaboration between humans and artificial intelligence in solving both old and new organizational challenges. Vivianna earned her PhD in Management from the School of Business at George Washington University in the USA. Before joining UCL, she worked at ETH Zürich, ESSEC Business School, and the University of St. Gallen and co-founded the Institute of Responsible Innovation, an interdisciplinary research center focusing on innovative technologies and their societal impacts.
