Professor Dr. Vladimir Nekhendzy

Biography

Vladimir Nekhendzy is a Clinical Professor in the field of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Pain Medicine at Stanford University. He holds additional courtesy appointments in the Department of Otolaryngology (Head and Neck Surgery). He is highly skilled in managing challenging advanced airway situations and is adept at administering anesthesia for a diverse range of surgical procedures, particularly those involving otolaryngologic, neurotologic, maxillofacial, and facial aesthetic surgeries. Dr. Nekhendzy completed his medical education at Pavlov Medical School in Russia, followed by a residency at UCSF Medical Center and an internship at California Pacific Medical Center in Internal Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology since 1997.
