Biography

Volodymyr Kulikov is a historian specializing in business economic history. Since joining University College London, he has taught in the Department of Slavic and Eurasian Studies at the University of Texas at Austin and the Cultural Heritage Studies Programme at Central European University. He has held teaching positions at Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv and Karazin Kharkiv National University in Ukraine. Kulikov has participated in international fellowships, including the Visby Programme at Uppsala University in Sweden, the Fulbright Scholar Programme at the Kennan Institute, and the Petrach Ukrainian Studies Fellowship at George Washington University. His research focuses on business economic history in Eastern Europe, particularly regarding industrialization and natural resource extraction, with a keen interest in business organizations in Ukraine from the mid-19th to the mid-20th century.
