Biography

W. Jude LeBlanc is an architect and educator who teaches various design disciplines, spanning from furniture to architecture and urban design. His work addresses key issues of representation, health, and sustainability while providing continuity within the design fields. LeBlanc maintains a professional design office where his design efforts cover a range of projects, including furniture, architectural interiors, installations, and urban planning. His notable building designs have garnered several awards. Furthermore, his design research has been widely exhibited and published in prominent outlets such as Lotus International, Metropolis magazine, and Harvard Design Magazine. Collaborating with Michael Gamble, his research received grants from the Center for Quality Growth and Regional Development and won a Prize for Research in an international competition sponsored by the Environmental Design Research Association.
