Biography

Wael Albayaydh has extensive academic experience in computer science with a focus on security and human-centered computing. He holds a DPhil (PhD) in Computer Science from the University of Oxford, a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the New York Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Jordan. He is currently a researcher in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Oxford and a member of St Hilda's College. Wael has contributed to projects aimed at reforming the concentration of power on the World Wide Web through the development and deployment of new forms of technical and legal infrastructure. He has been recognized with the Distinguished Paper Award at the USENIX Security Symposium. His research interests include systems security, safety, quantitative analysis, verification, and cyber security.
