Biography

Wafaa Elmezraoui completed her PhD in Employment Research at the University of Warwick in 2023, focusing on the impact of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) use on work-life balance during the pandemic. Before starting her PhD, she worked at Henkel in Dubai for five years, where she held leading roles in areas such as Human Resources, e-learning, succession planning, and HR business partnership. Additionally, Wafaa had experience as a trainee lawyer in Morocco, specializing in civil law. She holds a master's degree in Human Resource Management from Middlesex University in the United Arab Emirates and a bachelor's degree in Law from Mohamed V University in Morocco. Wafaa is also an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA) and has gained teaching experience as a sessional tutor at Warwick Business School, where she is keen to develop her teaching and research skills. Her areas of expertise include Agile working, ICT use in the workplace, work-life balance, and policymaking.
