Dr. Wai Meng

Biography

Wai Meng is a Chartered Psychologist (CPsychol) with the British Psychological Society and currently serves as Head of the Inclusion Lab for the Future Southeast Asian Centre for Workplace Wellbeing at Monash University. With 10 years of experience in both education and industry, Wai Meng began their career in multiple consulting roles, specializing initially in change management consulting before transitioning to a global recruitment firm. They subsequently moved into academia, becoming a Senior Lecturer at HELP University, where they served for five years. Wai Meng holds a PhD in Applied Psychology from the University of Nottingham, an MSc in Management Psychology with Distinction also from Nottingham, and a Bachelor of Psychology with First Class Honours from HELP University. They possess a certificate as a test user in psychometric evaluations and psychological testing (Level A & B) from the British Psychological Society and are certified in project management with a Prince2 certificate. Their research interests focus on work, management, and organizational psychology, with a passion for ensuring that organizational research findings are effectively integrated into workplace practices to promote sustained flourishing among organizations. Wai Meng is skilled in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, with expertise related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals established in 2015.
