Professor Dr. Walid Abdul Kader

Biography

Walid Abdul-Kader is a Professor in the Mechanical, Automotive & Materials Engineering department. His academic credentials include a Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from Université Laval, a Master of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Industrial Engineering from Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. His research focuses on sustainable manufacturing systems, modeling of manufacturing and remanufacturing systems, reverse logistics networks, and virtual factory design and performance optimization. He has authored and co-authored multiple publications on topics relevant to sustainable development, electric vehicle battery management, and performance evaluation of remanufacturing systems. His academic contributions aim to enhance knowledge in the realm of sustainable engineering practices.
