Biography

Wanda Wright, DDS, is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, specializing in Health Policy and Health Services Research. She joined the faculty in 2002 and has been actively involved in research focused on reducing oral health disparities and improving oral health-related quality of life. Dr. Wright obtained her dental degree from the University of Maryland and holds a Master of Science in Health Services Administration from Boston University, and a Master’s degree from D'Youville College. Her prior experience includes serving in leadership roles at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, where she chaired the Minority Affairs Committee and contributed to the admissions committee. Dr. Wright is involved in various research projects, including the Hampden County Oral Health Pilot Project, where she was the Principal Investigator. She is committed to enhancing oral health outcomes and bridging gaps in health equity through her research and teaching.
