Biography

Wansoo Park is an Associate Professor at the School of Social Work at the University of Windsor. His teaching interests encompass program evaluation, research methods, group work, community practice, and international social work. He has a solid practice background in health promotion, program development, program evaluation, and community practice focused on immigrant communities. His research interests include promoting civic engagement, health equity, and social inclusion, supporting connections among individuals, families, institutions, and communities within a multicultural society. He has recently published various articles and reports addressing topics such as newcomer youth resilience and community-based participatory research. Park has also been involved in multiple research grants aimed at enhancing health equity among diverse populations and addressing the needs of individuals with limited English proficiency.
