Biography

Warren Bailey's interests include international finance, international securities markets, and investments. He is a professor in finance at the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management with a particular focus on emerging capital markets, especially in Asia. He has been extensively quoted in the financial mainstream press, including The New York Times and The Economist, and has appeared in television interviews on CNN-FN and CNBC. Additionally, he serves as co-editor of the Journal of Financial Services Research and has held the role of associate editor for the Journal of Financial Quantitative Analysis and the Pacific-Basin Finance Journal. He received the Class of 1992 Award for Teaching Excellence and the Stephen Russell Distinguished Teaching Award in 1999. His recent publications include works on cross-border investment influences on Chinese firms, foreign investors and productivity, and the expected earnings hypothesis.
