Biography

Warwick Aubrey Ames is a Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at Duke University, specializing in pediatric cardiac anesthesia. He focuses on the assessment and management of difficult pediatric airways and the utility of dimensional computerized tomography in perioperative airway management. His extensive research includes the development of an airway simulator to enhance training and safety in pediatric anesthesia. Dr. Ames received his M.B.B.S. from King's College London in 1991 and has held multiple academic roles, progressing through the ranks from Assistant Professor to Professor.
