Biography

Dr. Wassim Kassouf completed a fellowship in urologic oncology at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, following his medical school and urology residency at McGill University. His clinical practice emphasizes urologic oncology, addressing conditions such as bladder, prostate, renal, testes, and penile cancers. Dr. Kassouf's leadership roles include serving as the bladder cancer section editor for CUAJ and on the editorial boards of several reputable journals. Additionally, he is recognized as a co-founder of Bladder Cancer Canada and has held positions on various committees regarding urologic cancer management. He is a recipient of numerous prestigious awards, including the American Urological Association's Young Urologist of the Year and the Quebec FRQS Distinguished Research Scholar Award.
