Biography

Wayne Wan received his PhD degree in Land Economy from the University of Cambridge and holds BEng and MPhil degrees from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). He also earned a Master of Urban Planning (MUP) from the National University of Singapore (NUS). His research interests include Real Estate Finance, Urban Economics, and Machine Learning. Prior to joining Monash University, Dr. Wan worked in various industry roles as a management consultant and financial analyst with companies such as IBM and Citibank. He is a member of the Cambridge Real Estate Machine Learning Lab and is involved in research that aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Over the past five years, he has collaborated extensively on external projects, contributing to research in his areas of expertise.
