Dr. Wei Jiang

Biography

Wei Jiang is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting at the Alliance Manchester Business School, University of Manchester. His research focuses on the utilization of accounting information by capital market participants, the impacts of corporate governance on firm performance, and corporate policies. Jiang has published his work in several distinguished international peer-reviewed academic journals and contributed insights to Forbes online magazine. He is a member of the editorial board of Accounting Business Research and serves as an ad-hoc reviewer for numerous journals in the fields of accounting, finance, and management. Wei is an active member of the Academic Advisory Group for the UK Endorsement Board and has previously held a position as an Assistant Professor in Accounting at Warwick Business School, University of Warwick. He completed his PhD studies at the University of Manchester as a Dorothy Hodgkin Postgraduate Award Scholar and has extensive teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, covering various accounting courses including financial reporting and financial statement analysis.
