Biography

Wen Zhong is a Professor in the Department of Biosystems Engineering at the University of Manitoba, where he has been since 2005. His research focuses on the application of nanotechnology in biomaterials, emphasizing multifunctional nanofibers for wound care and tissue engineering, multifunctional hydrogels for biosensors, nano-carriers for therapeutic agents, and transport of nanofibrous materials.
