Wen Zhou is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biostatistics at the NYU School of Global Public Health. He received his Ph.D. in Statistics and Applied Mathematics from Iowa State University. His research focuses on developing theories and methods for network data analysis, high-dimensional statistics, multiple testing problems, machine learning, and causal inference. He is particularly interested in applications in genomics, genetics, bioinformatics, protein structure modeling, social science, epidemiology, and health policy. In addition to his research, Wen serves on the editorial boards of Statistica Sinica, Journal of Multivariate Analysis, and Biometrics, and is the Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Biopharmaceutical Statistics. He has been recognized as an elected member of the International Statistical Institute and was the WNAR program coordinator for 2024. Prior to joining NYU, he was an Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics at Colorado State University and held a joint appointment in the Department of Biostatistics and Informatics at the Colorado School of Public Health, as well as being affiliated with the Molecular, Cellular and Integrative Neurosciences (MCIN) Program.
