Wendie Robbins is a Professor and the Director of the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Program at the Joe C. Wen School of Nursing. She holds additional faculty appointments at the UCLA Center for Occupational and Environmental Health, the UCLA Molecular Toxicology Interdepartmental Program, and the Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center. She has over a decade of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in medically underserved areas affected by environmental pollution. Her scholarship explores work as a social determinant of health, as well as the impact of environmental factors on health across communities, especially in the context of disasters.
