Biography

Wendy Chrusch completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Saskatchewan in 2006. Following her graduation, she accepted a position in Regina where she primarily works at Wascana Rehabilitation Centre, offering a comprehensive range of rehabilitation services. Her special interests encompass pediatric rehabilitation, musculoskeletal medicine, and electromyography. In addition to her clinical duties, she is deeply committed to medical education and actively teaches both medical students and residents. Wendy holds the role of undergraduate coordinator for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She is also involved with the Saskatchewan Academy of Sports Medicine and the Sports Medicine Science Council of Saskatchewan, providing medical coverage for local sporting events. A certified level II wheelchair rugby classifier, Wendy is passionate about sports medicine. Moreover, she is a member of the Saskatchewan Acquired Brain Injury Outreach Committee. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys a variety of physical activities including running, cross-country skiing, swimming, cycling, triathlons, and yoga.
