Biography

Wendy Heltzer’s research interests include earnings quality and book-tax differences. Heltzer has published papers on topics in the Journal of Accounting, Auditing & Finance and Advances in Accounting. With significant experience in the corporate world, Heltzer worked as a Senior Tax Consultant at Ernst & Young, LLP. She brings her corporate experiences into the classroom, helping to prepare students for their post-graduation careers. Heltzer earned a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School in 1996 and an MBA and Ph.D. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2006. Additionally, she currently serves on the board of the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation.
