Biography

Wendy Hsieh, MD, MPH, FACOG, is an Acting Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Washington. She is board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology since 2016 and has been licensed to practice in Washington since 2013. Dr. Hsieh completed her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine in 2012 and earned her MD from Tulane University School of Medicine in 2008. Her clinical interests focus on routine pregnancy care, postpartum care, breastfeeding, mental health, preventive healthcare, and contraception. Since joining UW Medicine in 2021, she has been committed to providing comprehensive care to her patients while actively engaging in academic responsibilities. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Hsieh has personal interests in the arts, studying musicology, and creative writing, and she enjoys baking and swimming, valuing time spent with her family.
