Biography

Wenshe Liu, PhD, is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy. He completed his postdoctoral training in chemical biology at the Scripps Research Institute from 2005 to 2007 and earned his Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of California-Davis between 2000 and 2005. His research interests encompass chromatin biology, chemical proteomics, and various methodologies in drug discovery, such as small molecule, peptide/phage display, and antibody/nanobody technologies. Liu has made significant contributions to the field, as reflected in his numerous publications in reputable scientific journals, focusing on innovative approaches to epigenetic reader protein inhibitors and antiviral strategies.
