Biography

Previously, I completed my Ph.D. at UC Berkeley in the RISE Lab, where I was co-advised by Raluca Ada Popa and Ion Stoica. I earned my M.Eng. degrees from MIT, where I was fortunate to work with several wonderful mentors, including Barbara Liskov, Eddie Kohler, and Sam Madden. I co-founded and organized DARE, a diversity-focused program that connects undergraduates with research opportunities. My research interests broadly encompass system security and applied cryptography. I am particularly fascinated by building practical systems for secure outsourced computation in the cloud and secure collaborative computation among mutually distrusting parties. I believe that a combination of systems and advanced cryptography can secure existing applications and enable new ones.
