Dr. Will Mcdowall

Biography

McDowall is an Associate Professor at the Energy Institute and the Institute of Sustainable Resources at University College London in the UK. He served as a Policy Advisor for the National Round Table on the Environment and Economy (NRTEE) in Canada, focusing on climate change policy governance. Previously, he worked as a Research Manager at the Community Energy Association, advising local governments on climate and energy policy, and as a Policy Associate at the Centre for Health and Environment Research at the University of British Columbia. McDowall has also held a Research Fellow position at the Policy Studies Institute in London and is associated with a leading UK think tank. His work is centered around sustainable development goals such as affordable clean energy, responsible consumption and production, and climate action.
