William Boyd is a Professor of Law at the UCLA School of Law and the Institute of the Environment and Sustainability. His book, 'Slain Wood: Papermaking and the Environmental Consequences in the American South,' received the 2016 Edelstein Prize from the Society for the History of Technology.
