Biography

Dr. Bradley has been working as a GP Psychiatrist in a multi-disciplinary Community Mental Health Outpatient setting since 1991. He was an original member involved in the strategic planning process leading to the eventual restructuring of Community Mental Health Services, resulting in the current five community mental health service teams at the Capital District Health Authority. He continues to engage in educating medical learners across a variety of disciplines, contributing to his role as a community educator. His memberships include the College of Family Physicians of Canada, Canadian Medical Association, and the Nova Scotia Psychiatry Association. He is also a founding member and former Chair of the Musquodoboit Harbour Farmers’ Market and has served on the Canadian Aids Treatment Information Services as a member and ex-Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee. His teaching and supervision responsibilities include Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students, focusing on psychopharmacology sessions and community mental health multidisciplinary outpatient teams.
