Biography

William Dory earned his bachelor's degree from Miami University and his doctorate from the University of Georgia. He has traveled abroad extensively, having taught for a year at Sun Yat-Sen University in Zhuhai, China. His research focuses on issues surrounding power transition theory, the expansion of China, and international organizations and institutions. In addition to his position at Sun Yat-Sen University, he has taught at the University of Georgia, DePauw University, and Butler University. He has presented his research and served as a discussant and panel chair at the annual Midwest Political Science Association conference held in Chicago.
