Biography

Dr. William Brent Edwards is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Kinesiology at the University of Calgary, a Full Member of the McCaig Institute for Bone and Joint Health. His work employs advanced medical imaging and computational modeling to explore tissue damage and mechanical loading effects on tissue quality, aiming to develop treatments and interventions to reduce injury risk and enhance tissue quality. He has contributed to studies on rare fractures in post-menopausal women, exploring the relationship between mechanical fatigue and injury risk.
