Bill English joined Yale University in 2016 as the Eugene F. Williams, Jr. Professor of Practice. He has a wealth of experience in monetary policy, having previously held significant positions within the Federal Reserve System from 2010 to 2015. During his tenure, he served as the Director of the Division of Monetary Affairs and was instrumental in the development of monetary policy while addressing issues related to asset purchases, policy normalization, and communication strategies.
