Keach is the author of notable works including "Elizabethan Erotic Narratives" (1976), "Shelley's Style" (1984), and "Arbitrary Power: Romanticism, Language, Politics" (2004). He edited "Coleridge: Complete Poems" for the Penguin English Poets series in 1997. His articles have been featured in reputable journals such as Studies in Romanticism and the Keats-Shelley Journal. His research interests focus on 18th- and 19th-century British literature, exploring figures such as Blake, Wollstonecraft, Wordsworth, Coleridge, Byron, Shelley, and Keats. His work also encompasses literary theory and historical materialism, particularly in the context of transatlantic literary culture and the intersection of literary and political discourses during the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
