Biography

William D. Sanders is the Dean of the College of Engineering and a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. With over 25 years of experience, he is a well-respected leader in engineering research and academia, known for building strategic public-private partnerships. Previously, he held the Herman M. Dieckamp Endowed Chair at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he also led the Discovery Partners Institute.
