Willington Amutuhaire is a board certified internal medicine physician and currently a cardiology fellow at Yale School of Medicine. Willington is interested in global health, particularly in reciprocal innovation approaches aimed at improving the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases in resource-limited countries. He is also a proud senator (lord councilor) for Kampala Capital City Council in Uganda, advocating for improved air quality in the city and has received the International Visitor Leadership Program award from the U.S. Department of State.
