Biography

Dr. Kuswanto is a physician scientist and board-certified Rheumatologist at Stanford University School of Medicine. He is currently collaborating with Garry Nolan, PhD and William Robinson MD, PhD to investigate tissue immune responses in rheumatologic diseases. Dr. Kuswanto completed his medical degree at Harvard Medical School, where he also earned his PhD in Immunology. His doctoral research focused on the role of the immune system in tissue repair and regeneration. Presently, he is engaged in residency training and a fellowship in Rheumatology at Stanford University, where he specializes in managing conditions such as tissue inflammation, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, Sjögren's syndrome, and sarcoidosis.
