Winok Lapidaire focuses on the effects of high blood pressure on brain health, with a particular interest in the effects of high blood pressure during pregnancy. He was awarded a Child Health Research studentship to fund his PhD, which investigated the long-term effects of neonatal nutrition on the brain in preterm infants, involving adult follow-ups that included brain MRI scans and cognitive testing.
