Dr. Woon Park

Biography

Woon Ju Park is an Assistant Professor in the School of Psychology at Georgia Institute of Technology. He obtained his Ph.D. in Brain Cognitive Sciences from the University of Rochester in 2017, and prior to that, completed his M.S. in Cognitive Science and a B.A. in Psychology at Yonsei University. His research interests focus on plasticity, typical and atypical development, special populations, adaptation, sensory encoding, and multimodal neuroimaging. Park has contributed to several notable publications that investigate perception, auditory motion, and cortical development plasticity. His work is characterized by a deep exploration of the neural adaptations that arise in various populations, particularly those facing sensory challenges.
