Biography

Wout Cornelissen is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy Law at Radboud University. His research is focused on critical-philosophical reflection regarding the meaning, origins, and adequacy of concepts used to understand political, legal, and social phenomena. He has a special interest in the work of Hannah Arendt and is co-editor of the newly published critical edition of Arendt's unfinished book project, *Life Mind*. Cornelissen holds a doctorate from the Institute of Philosophy of Leiden University, where his dissertation critically examined the relationship between philosophy and politics. He has also worked as a visiting scholar at the University of Chicago, and studied philosophy at Radboud University, specializing in legal philosophy and political philosophy.
