Xi-Long Zheng is a tenured professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary, and a member of the Libin Cardiovascular Institute of Alberta. He earned his M.D. and M.Sc. degrees from Hunan Medical University, China, in 1986 and 1989, respectively, and completed his Ph.D. in Pharmacology at the University of Calgary in 1997.
