Biography

Xi (Vincent) Wang is an Associate Professor at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden, specializing in Industrial Production Systems. He heads the working division focusing on Industrial Production Systems (IPS). Vincent received his Docentship from KTH in 2021, and he holds a PhD and Bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, and Tianjin University, China, obtained in 2013 and 2008 respectively. His primary research interests include Cloud-based Manufacturing, Sustainable Manufacturing, Robotics, Digital Twin, and Computer-Aided Design. In addition to his research, he serves as the Managing Editor of the International Journal of Manufacturing Research (IJMR) and as an Associate Editor for the SME Journal of Manufacturing Systems (JMS) and the Array - Open Access Journal Elsevier, as well as being a member of the editorial board for three international journals.
