Biography

Xi Wang, also known as Vincent Wang, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Production Engineering at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden. He is the head of the Industrial Production Systems division and became a Docent at KTH in 2021. Xi holds a PhD and Bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Auckland (New Zealand) and Tianjin University (China), respectively, obtained in 2013 and 2008. His research interests include Cloud-based Manufacturing, Sustainable Manufacturing, Robotics, Digital Twin, and Computer-Aided Design. He has served as the Managing Editor of the International Journal of Manufacturing Research and is an Associate Editor for the SME Journal of Manufacturing Systems and another open-access journal. He is also on the editorial board of three international journals, contributing significantly to the field of manufacturing engineering.
